The Lord IS truly faithful to his word..Hallelujah praise his name!!

SO what has happened to us since July 2008? What is happening for us here now as we find ourselves in April 2009?

After returning from missionary service abroad we told the Lord ''we wish to continue as missionary servants wherever you want us to be...send us''........''please Lord we would however like for both of us to have a job and somewhere to live as neither of us have either at the moment''.

Amazingly as we surfed the internet one afternoon whilst in Ireland spending some time with family after being away for 2 years, we came accross a job in the South West of England which was ideally looking for a 'young couple' to look after an elderly retired missionary couple who had served the Lord in Kenya for 35 years! The job would be a new thing entirely for the elderly couple also, who were planning to move house in one months time in order to live nearer other members of their family who lived in the South West. When we enquired about the job it turned out that they presently lived just 30 mintues from Daniel's parents in the South east of England where we would be returning to from Ireland in a few days time! After therefore meeting the couple and their family who support us all, we started work initially helping the couple to pack up their old house, travelling back and forth the 30 mintues everyday to Daniel's parents where we stayed for that month of September. In the day we would pack up and prepare the couple to move house, at night we would do the same but for ourselves. In October we all then moved over to where we now live and the Lord has been so wonderful to us as this job has provided us both with work as well as accommodation of our own in a detached cottage on site of where we work and care for the couple.

Our other big news is that we are now expecting a baby in the summer time and are very excitied about this and feel abundantly blessed by the Lord. A big part of our ministry where we now live so far has been Praying, praying and praying more for this area the Lord has sent us to and we are seeing lives changed for eternity right here. We are involved in a weekly prayer meeting for the local area, as well as monthly prayer group which prays for the persecuted church worldwide. We have had several opportunities to share our testimonies in different places in England and Ireland since we returned from abroad. Here we regularly attend two different churches, one on Sunday mornings and the other in the evenings as well as mid-week events.

We are living in challenging yet exciting times in terms of the Kingdom and eternity. Keep trusting and believeing and doing your part as you feel the Lord is leading and using you, remember as the apostle Paul writes in 2 Cor 5:9-10 ''Our only goal is to please God whether we live here or there, because we must all stand before Christ to be judged. Each of us will receive what we must get-good or bad-for the things we did in the earthly body''.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus and live in his glorious grace :)
